Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has condoled with the family of a frontline nationalist, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu over the death of his wife, Ezinne Eudora Iwuanyanwu.

 The governor stated that her death was a loss to the entire people of the state for according to him, the deceased was very loving and caring to all who were opportuned to meet her while alive.

He added that late Lady Eudora distanced herself from politics and devoted her life to philanthropy, dedication to God and service to mankind.

Owelle Okorocha noted that death is inevitable to the living hence the deceased has transited to eternal glory for having lived a good life on earth.

Engineer Iwuanyanwu thanked the governor for finding time to condole with the family on the death of their matriarch.

He disclosed that his wife had been an ardent believer of the emergence of Okorocha as the governor of Imo state, adding that she was highly spiritual.

He used the opportunity to call on Imo people to support the Okorocha led administration, since according to him it was a divine mandate.

Chief Iwuanyanwu also announced his plan to retire from active politics by the time he attains the age of 70 years.

Present at the condolence visit were the Deputy Governor of the state, Sir. Jude Agbaso, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Tony Anwuka and some members of the State Executive Council.
